The Lifestyle Journey

My Lifestyle Challenge has been in development for over 3 decades and is a culmination of years of research and dedication in fitness, physical activity, nutrition, health, and weight loss. What research shows, and that so many programs don't address, is that the most difficult part of losing weight and changing behaviors isn't in the knowing what to do, it's in the long term lifestyle changes that need to accompany any successful program.

What WE know is that life happens, and when we face challenges on the outside, sometimes our insides get the most neglected. We put off taking care of our own health for so many different reasons. Stress, personal loss, feelings of depression or loneliness, financial strain, overwork, and caring for others can all take a toll on our own health and wellbeing. On the other end of the spectrum, living too large can also send our health into a downward spiral. 

To be successful with positive lifestyle change, it starts with YOUR decision and commitment to make your own health and wellbeing a priority.  The ONLY way that you can lead a truly effective, meaningful, healthy and happy life is if you are confident and strong in mind, body, and spirit. About Our Founder

Tamilynn Phillips is a speaker, trainer, fitness expert, and the founder and CEO of the National Association of Physical Activity and KidsMoving, Inc., organizations that provide real-life practical solutions in fitness and health to get individuals and organizations on the right track for success. Ms. Michaels has developed multiple fitness certifications and a comprehensive physical education curriculum, Tandalay. She has presented Physical Education workshops at numerous State and National conventions.  


With a background in fitness, a passion for play, and a desire to help people of all fitness levels and abilities achieve their healthiest and happiest lives, we engineer physical activity programs that increase knowledge and confidence, execute sound principles of health and fitness, and empower every individual to live a longer, more fulfilling, rewarding, and enjoyable life.
